VAK Juniors

VAK JUNIORS – young executives of the industry

A strong network supporting the association’s work

With objectives from the areas of digitalisation, internationalisation and talent management, the VAK Juniors support the development of the association and the industry as a whole. They thus form the internal committee of experts for the VAK member companies. In addition, they devote themselves to modern management topics, generational change in companies and provide advice on issues of the younger generation.

Talent management

You want to become a Junior?

You can become a VAK Junior if you are a young executive in your company and if your company is a member of the VAK. Do you want to represent the contents and topics not only as a VAK expert, but also promote and develop them in your company? Then come join our Juniors!

Our two VAK Junior representatives are always available to answer your questions.

The Juniors are the future of the industry

The VAK promotes young talents of the industry by fully supporting the activities of the VAK Juniors.

Junior projects

Social media project for Trainees
Trainees of our member companies create short videos on the following topics and put them online (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram):

  • Interviews with managing directors, issues of the younger generation, reports about the Truck in Action Show
  • Coverage of the Green Talents Night through films, photos and interviews
  • Accompaniment of the trainees by our VAK Juniors on site

Talent acquisition
The Juniors will create short video portraits of the industry: they will make a short video about their job, their training and “what you need” in their profession based on pre-defined questions. These will then be shown on all digital channels in the run-up to IFAT.

Green Talents Nights
The Juniors will promote the IFAT Career Day as well as the evening event on all VAK channels and invite all member companies to send their green talents.
Trainees will report about the evening event and the career day in the context of the Social Media Project.
